Alora, surrounded by the rich and varied landscapes of Andalusia makes El Azul an excellent base for touring the Costa del Sol (30 minutes), nearby Ardales National Park and the El Chorro reservoir (20 minutes). Venture a little further out to discover ancient Moorish legacy.

66km... A city of bandits and bullfighters in years gone by, a distinguishing mark of the city is a hundred metre deep Tajo. To see it is to believe it!
 
  15km... The most interesting road to the lakes is from Alora; the road passes through a picturesque landscape of pine trees and sandstone. Nature has created some extraordinary areas of natural interest and is ideal for photography, hiking, climbing, fishing, watersports, bird watching, mountain biking, & horse riding locally.
   

 

Alora is centrally located in the stunning Valle del Sol and the perfect base for exploring the area as well as the historical Spanish cities nearby.
